Carroll Motor Fuels is seeking individuals who are independent and want competitive income and excellent benefits. Most importantly, you are guaranteed to be home every day The Driver will deliver various petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. Duties will include, but are not limited to, local driving in the Baltimore area using a straight truck, delivering petroleum products, and completing required daily paperwork. The available shift is Sunday - Wednesday starting at Noon for drivers experienced in petroleum deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a straight truck to delivery locations while obeying all local traffic laws. Operate other Company vehicles within license classification restrictions on occasion as assigned.
  • Deliver product by transferring fuel from the truck to the customers' receiving vessel according to company procedures.
  • Loading product into truck at local loading facility as directed by dispatcher and operate the truck's onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
  • Perform other tasks & duties as assigned or required.

Education,SkillsandAbilities:
  • HighSchoolDiplomaorGED recommended,butnotrequired.
  • Mustbe21yearsofage(DOTrequired).
  • Current/validClassACommercialDriver'sLicensewithTankerandHazmatendorsements and TWIC Card.
  • Current/validDOT MedicalExaminer'sCertificate.
  • Pass the FMCSA Clearinghouse Query.
  • 3+Years' experiencedrivingtankervehicles, preferred.
  • Ability to train and learn about the petroleum industry.
  • Abilitytolift andpull a minimum of 50 lbs. and the ability to stabilize aminimumof100lbs.
  • Ability toworkwithlittlesupervision.
  • Abilitytoeffectivelycommunicateverballywithothers,includingemployeesandcustomers.
  • Mustmeetcompanyinsurabilityrequirements.
