Summary:
Provides safe and competent comprehensive health care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of minor injuries and chronic illnesses, education, case management, teaching/counseling, health promotion, disease prevention, and referral, when appropriate, to other health care professionals. Works in collaboration with a sponsor physician or physicians and is legally authorized under their licensing state to provide health care in a variety of settings, either autonomously or in conjunction with a physician.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • CRNP or PA
    • RNFA certification is required for NPs
  • Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or MSN/CRNP Program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible to obtain Alabama PA or NP license
  • Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting
  • Experience with and willingness to perform TAVR and mitral valves
  • DEA certification
