We are currently hiring talented CRA Loan Officers who proactively identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. External relationships are the cornerstone of generating new business and may consist of realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts. Our Loan Officers are encouraged to participate in business related development opportunities, community efforts to promote home ownership and professional organizations. You will be responsible for interviewing new and existing customers to determine their loan needs and advising those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing, while gather any additional required information. It will be necessary to generate complete mortgage applications, ensuring appropriate procedures and policies are followed, while meeting sales goals and objectives.
Primary responsibilities include

Maintain 55% of your overall business as CRA eligible and create 8 preapprovals/prequals per month.

Conduct 12 homebuyer seminars per year in designated MSA's and report out on referrals from those organizations; the PSM should attend 6 seminars a year with CRA LO.

Conduct and participate in mortgage lunch and learn. 1 per month.

Work with Low and Moderate income (LMI) branches in their MSA to educate on CRA mortgage products to generate referrals ( if you are assigned branches).

Work closely with the Community Development Market manager in your market to participate in CRA related events (Housing Fairs, etc).

Volunteer to be on a Board or committee of a not for profit.

Schedule on call days with Community Development Market managers (CDMMs) 1 per quarter.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales preferred.

Three plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.

Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $12 million (minimum).

Established relationships with local referral networks.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.

Strong computer skills and experience utilizing laptop technology.

Successful candidate must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Pay Transparency
Commissioned based. Individuals in this role have historically earned between $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, based on performance and productivity against commission plan parameters. A component of that compensation includes salary ranging between $53,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
