Full-Time | Night Shift (10:30/11:00 PM - 7:00/7:30 AM)
A well-established HLA laboratory in a major healthcare system is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Technologist) to join its night-shift team. This role focuses on highly complex histocompatibility testing that directly supports organ transplantation. Candidates with prior HLA experience are strongly preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Perform HLA antibody identification and crossmatch testing, including urgent deceased donor workups
- Analyze, interpret, and report results with accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor QC data, identify trends or shifts, and document findings
- Troubleshoot assays and instrumentation using SOPs and manufacturer guidelines
- Serve as an advanced technical resource for fellow CLS team members
- Perform complex assays and assist with training and competency evaluations
- CLS - MTA - California Clinical Laboratory Scientist required upon hire
OR CLS - MTR - California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist required upon hire
- 3+ years to 5 years of hands-on testing experience in a clinical and/or clinical histocompatibility lab required
- Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or a life science required
