QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, or a closely related field required
  • BCBA certification required

AGENCY SUMMARY:

Bellefaire JCB is one of the largest and most experienced child service agencies in the nation, offering a wide variety of mental health, substance abuse, education, and prevention services. Each year, we assist over 43,000 youth and their families in achieving resiliency, dignity, and self-sufficiency through more than 25 programs, including the Monarch Boarding Academy. Our Monarch Boarding Academy is a therapeutic residential treatment program tailored for individuals with Autism, aged 8 to 20. The program emphasizes the development of communication and life skills to help residents transition back home or to a less restrictive environment. Residents live in secure, home-like cottages designed to foster peer relationship skill sets.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Clinical Services for Autism Programs is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and sustainability of the clinical model utilized within the Residential Autism Services division. Operating independently from billing constraints, the Director will direct, supervise, train, and coordinate with clinical team members. Key responsibilities include monitoring assessments, behavior intervention planning, outcome measures, data collection, and treatment adherence. The Director will foster an environment focused on meaningful client outcomes and the professional development of treatment providers. This role is essential in creating an innovative clinical model that prioritizes individual learner needs without the limitations of third-party payer coordination.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Providing clinical supervision and leadership to the Coordinator(s) of Behavior Services and the staff/managers within the Monarch Boarding Academy.
  • Hearing administrative duties related to hiring, supervision, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for staff members.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of client records, data collection systems, and compliance with standards/regulations set by accrediting and licensing bodies.
  • Developing, conducting, and coordinating training for staff in alignment with clinical outcome goals for clients and the division.
  • Facilitating participation in agency research projects to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Upholding high standards of ethical and professional conduct within the clinical team.
