Known as a premier destination for furniture shopping in western North Carolina, Hickory also houses one of the most spacious and versatile convention centers in the region.This role involves providing direct therapy, preparing for and attending IEP meetings, and managing a caseload of 25-35 students. You'll work a standard Monday-Friday week, accumulating 37.5 hours, while traveling to multiple schools within a compact area. Please note that school holidays and closings due to teacher workshops or inclement weather are unpaid.You will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work and gain experience that contributes significantly to your professional development. Required Qualifications

Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) State License is Required to Start the Assignment

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
