- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Description:
Function independently to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative and patient-centric manner.
Care may occur in various settings and modalities, including direct patient interaction in the hospital and/or clinic, as well as via telephone, video, or secure email when appropriate.
Gather patient history from the patient and others, perform physical exams, review prior records, and review ancillary data using sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills.
Develop and monitor appropriate treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families when appropriate.
Utilize a multi-disciplinary approach to provide efficient and compassionate care for both patients and their families.
Provide relevant education and counseling to support care plans, treatment, and discharge.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure safe patient care.
Communicate pertinent findings and information to the physician and care team.
Assist collaborating physicians with patient management consistent with care site policies and approved Scope of Practice.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics.
Document in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization while adhering to service behavior standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May be required to float to other departments based on business needs.
May be required to be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
