SUMMARY:
Strong Accounting Professional sought for a fully-cycle accounts payable specialist role. Performs a variety of accounts payable duties in order to maintain accurate payable records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: "Essential functions" are primarily job duties that incumbents must be able to perform unassisted with minimal supervision from his/her supervisor.
- Primarily responsible for firm's full-cycle Accounts Payable functions including entering invoices, cutting checks and setting up new vendors.
- Managing accounts payable using Elite Enterprise and other banking programs.
- Handling accounts payable for 20+ offices and many practice groups.
- Analyzing accounts payable workflow processes to drive improvement.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Ensuring invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- 3+ years of high volume full-cycle accounts payable processing experience, legal/professional service experience preferred.
- Experience using Elite Enterprise or Aderant Expert, preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity in fiduciary and confidential matters.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients and to provide or obtain information with ordinary courtesy, diplomacy and tact.
- Efficient data entry ability in order to perform the necessary job functions along with computer and office equipment experience.
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills to allow for timely, effective and accurate performance of job duties.
- Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties.
