Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency fire scenes and actively engage in fire suppression duties utilizing appropriate extinguishing agents.
  • Operate various fire suppression equipment and gear, ensuring safe and effective search and rescue operations.
  • Conduct safety inspections and pre-fire planning to promote community safety.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel, public safety officials, and fellow firefighters.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in community programs that foster positive relationships and enhance the company’s image.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • State issued (IL) BOF certification.
  • State issued or National Registered EMT-P certification.
  • Current ACLS certification required for EMT-P applicants.
  • Current AHA CPR/AED certification.
