Cheshire House is a welcoming, family-owned skilled nursing facility with 75 beds, specializing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to enhance the quality of life for our residents. If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document nursing observations in a clear and detailed manner, reflecting the care provided and the resident's responses.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Prepare and administer medications as per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with assigned Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure they understand and follow the resident care plans.

Compensation:

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution; must be a graduate of a Connecticut-approved RN/LPN program.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Aide is required.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to lift and move a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster is necessary.
