Project Manager - Concrete Construction

Job Summary

Lindsay Precast is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or concrete contracting and a passion for delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality: Deliver high-quality construction projects that meet client expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Support strategic planning initiatives and ensure compliance with the strategic plan.
  • Leadership: Provide overall leadership for concrete projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with estimating, field leadership, and subcontractors.
  • Change Management: Manage change orders and document changes.
  • Documentation: Ensure that all project documentation is organized and complete.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil or concrete construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, iPads, photocopiers, video conferencing and presentation screens.

Expected Hours of Work

This position regularly requires flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events. Occasional unscheduled overtime and weekend support is required.

Travel

Travel is limited and primarily local during the business day, although some projects may require more out-of-area and overnight travel.
