Comprised of characters hand-drawn initially and brought to life by Gary Vaynerchuk, there
are 283 VeeFriends, all of whom Gary imagined, created, and drew himself. Each character
represents traits and qualities Gary admires and hopes to inspire in others.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to focus on the acquisition and management of collectibles that will be released on a monthly basis, including comics, trading cards, pins, coins, and other memorabilia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the collectibles industry and a deep understanding of supply chain management for fast-moving, limited-edition products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify and establish relationships with vendors and manufacturers specializing in collectible products. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and inventory of collectible products, ensuring adequate supply levels while minimizing overstock or shortages.
- Release Planning: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to plan and coordinate the monthly release schedule for various collectible items.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and are compliant with relevant regulations.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including cost tracking, vendor performance, and inventory levels.
- Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and new collectible products to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the collectibles or entertainment industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple product lines and ensure timely delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management systems and software.
- Passion for collectibles and an understanding of market trends.

The pay range for this role is:
$80,000 - $105,000 USD per year (VeeFriends LIC Office)
