The Medical Director at AdventHealth Centra Care provides clinical leadership and oversight for physician and provider services, ensuring high-quality urgent care delivery. Responsibilities include performing and supervising standard family practice procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and basic diagnostic interpretations. The role supports a diverse patient population through family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and corporate medicine services across multiple urgent care centers.
AdventHealth Centra Care is seeking a Medical Director to provide medical expertise, oversight, and leadership of physician and provider services, and to be responsible for the direction and quality of the medical care rendered by the business. In addition to oversight, this physician will also be responsible for the standard medical care provided by urgent care physicians including but not limited to, laceration repair, abscess incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, and basic ECG and x-ray interpretation. Centra Care specializes in family medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, and corporate medicine, allowing for a great variety in patient cases and day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements for this position:
• MD or DO
• Ability to receive an unrestricted Medical License
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
