Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician in partnership with a prominent client in the Binghamton area within the Manufacturing field. This role involves working with a variety of technologies, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and computerized systems.

Summary:
Shift: 1 st
Pay: $19 - $21

Facilities Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and calibration of equipment used in our production operations.
  • Perform standard upkeep and servicing of production and facility equipment.
  • Move, disconnect, and re-install machinery and related components during equipment relocations.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues using skills in electrical, mechanical, and basic carpentry.
  • Follow clear and structured procedures and be comfortable communicating effectively with team members.
  • Analyze and resolve mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, machine and other operational problems.
  • Install, adjust, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, oil changes, and replacement of parts.
  • Follow written procedures for carrying out scheduled activities.

Facilities Technician Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/ Equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in Facilities and Industrial maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical data
  • Use of hand/power tools and repair equipment including calibrated instruments
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and maintenance documentation.
