Job Description

The Human Resources Service Center Intern will partner cross-functionally with multiple Total Rewards / HR Departments to create Workday Help Articles for use by Employees across the Children's system. The intern will partner with the Human Resources Service Center team to document processes and practices that will ultimately be used to create standard operating procedures for use by the HR Service Center.

Responsibilities include:
- Partnering and gathering information from source documentation experts to create a minimum of 10 Workday Help Articles that will allow employees to better understand how to accomplish self-service tasks within the Workday system.
- Partnering with individual Human Resource Service Center team members to gather and format processes and practices for 15 Standard Operating Process documents. This documentation will be used to assist all HRSC agents in support of assisting employees via phone and Workday Case Management.
- Being immersed in the HR Service Center call team for better understanding of operations. This will aid in the completion of the tasks detailed above. This will include taking inbound calls to the center as well as resolving Workday cases created by Children's employees within the Service Level Agreement guidelines.

The Children's Summer Intern program allows interns the opportunity to gain hands-on experience related to their field of study by working on meaningful projects alongside Children's professionals. Intern responsibilities may include project management, event planning and support, logistics, data base management, research, and analysis. Interns may explore career paths and apply for full-time positions upon successful completion of the program.

Experience

  • Research area: research experience necessary either through previous internship, work experience, or course work; practical knowledge about the conduct of research principals required

  • Strong process documentation skills
  • Workday support knowledge
Education

Clinical Focus:
  • College student with at least two years in a health sciences related program, such as pre-med, nursing, biomedical engineering, biology, chemistry, or statistics, or post graduate student working toward a Master's of Science in public health or medical degree
Non-Clinical Focus:
  • College or graduate student that is currently working towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration or other related field, required

  • Able to travel throughout expanded metro Atlanta area; Must provide reliable transportation, if applicable to internship
Clinical Focus:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology useful
  • Knowledge of basic statistical software useful
Job Responsibilities
