Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all required training, including the Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
  • Create a high-performance culture, mentoring and coaching team members.
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences by addressing concerns quickly and respectfully.
  • Communicate shift goals effectively, motivating the team to achieve their best.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise team performance throughout shifts.
  • Maintain operational standards, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
  • Monitor food production processes, maintaining quality and safety at all times.
  • Handle inventory management and ensure products are properly stocked.
  • Plan and execute opening and closing duties efficiently.
  • Report any HR or risk management issues promptly to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment for yourself and the team.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Availability to work between 9 and 28 hours per week.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of background checks is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, crouching or climbing, including the use of ladders.
  • The capacity to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong dexterity in hands and wrists for tasks requiring fine manipulation.
  • Effective communication skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Ability to observe and respond to operational surroundings.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperatures and with food allergens.
  • Safe operation of kitchen equipment, including knives and fryers.
