Position Summary:

1. Greets visitors at Member Business Center, helps with DVD checkout, copying assistance, etc. Provides information to community members and families as necessary or refers the individual to the appropriate department. Assists in solving problems that may arise.

2. Assists Director of Member Life and Events in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and performing Member Life administrative procedures.

3. Interprets The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch policies and procedures to Members, family members and guests as directed by the Director of Member Life.

4. Designs slides for events, activities, and announcements on TouchTown, ensuring that calendars coincide.

5. Produces and designs the monthly event calendar, coordinating with Academy and Committee schedules, etc. Distributes the calendar by the first of every month and assists with the Piper distribution monthly. Posts copies of the calendar in the Common folder on the S-Drive.

6. General knowledge of event production.

7. Schedules activities, classes and events in the Mac Rooms and Art Room. Coordinates with the dining Team on events in the Sterling Room and with Admin Team for events in the Conference Room.

8. Use the Box Office ticketing software to reserve seats for theatre events.

9. Operates the theatre sound and light systems for movies, classes, meetings and/or theatrical productions as needed.

10. Coordinates and/or operates the audio/visual equipment in all the Mac Rooms for events including, but not limited to classes, meetings, and parties.

11. Assists with creation and implementation of monthly birthday party. This includes set-up and takedown of event as well as creative input into the planning of the event.

12. Serves as staff liaison for certain Member committees, implementing member events and coordinating with other departments as needed:

a. Glenridge Academy - Assists committee in planning, scheduling, and implementing Glenridge academy classes. Designs and Prepares the academy brochure for each quarter.

b. Off-campus events Committee - Assists committee in planning and implementing day trips, coordinating reservations and payments to venue, working with transportation department and Concierge in advertising and reserving transport to destination.

13. Oversees those announcements, which the Concierge and Member Life staff are responsible in distributing, are placed on In-house TV, posted on the bulletin boards, advertised in The Piper and listed on the monthly Calendar in a timely and appropriate manner. This includes alerts the evening before or the morning of an event - whichever is more fitting for the event.

14. Consults with other Member Life staff concerning their administrative needs, and other related areas, to assist in eliminating and correcting problem areas or improving services.

15. Accumulates, maintains, types, files and prepares confidential reports, statistical and financial data as directed.

16. Performs administrative requirements such as answering phones, completing necessary worksheets or forms, processes mail, schedules appointments. When required prepares correspondence and submits to Director of Member Life for approval.

17. Provides information to community members and families as necessary or refers the individual to the appropriate department.

18. Uses good judgment in determining needs of the company and in maintaining information delivery in conformance with recognized standards; and is expected to understand and follow all regulatory and facility policies.

19. Keeps current on all changes in their area of responsibility.

21. Maintains confidentiality of Members' PHI (Protected Health Information) and medical records information as well.

22. Other various duties as assigned.
