Job Description
- Oversee and ensure complete, accurate material take-offs for all items of work.
- Create scope sheets for potential bidders and bid tabulation sheets.
- Prepare milestone budgets during the preconstruction process.
- Maintain cost histories and pricing data for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate the estimating process with management and other Estimators.
- Provide feedback and analysis on project pricing and cost issues.
- Support multiple ongoing projects with efficiency and attention to detail.

The Successful Applicant
A successful MEP Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or related field.
- Progressive experience in FP/P/M/E estimating or the construction industry required.
- Minimum of 2 years of multifamily experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong math and analytical skills, including advanced calculations.
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar systems.
- Thorough understanding of construction documents, mechanical reports, and specifications.
- Knowledge of Sage Estimating Software (or equivalent) preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 USD annually.
