OTR CDL-A Reefer Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Class OTR Drivers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering perishables in a safe and timely manner on a dedicated route between Chicago, Illinois and Dallas, Texas, and will be required to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintain accurate records of deliveries, and ensure that all cargo is secured properly.
Responsibilities:
- Transport products from Chicago to Dallas
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries
- Report any accidents or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- 23 years or older
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OTR Driv er
- Reefer Experience preferred not required
- Attention to detail
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Long hours of driving
- Frequent overnight stays away from home
- Exposure to various weather conditions
- Paid weekly with the opportunity to earn up to $2,300 per week on average
