Nights: 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with weekend requirements every other week and holidays every other

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor Delivery Nurse with experience in postpartum couplet care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, demonstrating a commitment to providing quality care to mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Oversee the postpartum care of mothers and their newborns in couplet care settings.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards in the delivery unit.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Labor Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months.
• Postpartum couplet care experience is essential.
• BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications are required (certifications may not expire within 30 days of start).
• Current NJ or Compact RN License is required (pending licenses are not accepted).
