You are a passionate engineer with a solid foundation in electromagnetics, eager to make a tangible impact by helping customers solve complex real-world problems. With a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, you have hands-on experience with simulation software and a keen understanding of EDA workflows. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Apply your engineering expertise and knowledge of electromagnetics to deliver exceptional technical support to customers, ensuring high-quality, timely solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and productivity.
  • Take ownership of customer challenges, proactively engaging with selected accounts to deliver comprehensive electromagnetic solutions and contribute to technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Interact with customers to understand their product design requirements and engineering workflows, effectively articulating the value proposition of Synopsys and Ansys solutions.
  • Collaborate on the delivery of professional services projects, working alongside fellow application engineers across various disciplines to address complex engineering challenges.
  • Create and maintain scripting solutions (e.g., Python) that automate and streamline customer workflows, enhancing the usability and efficiency of our solvers.
  • Utilize your familiarity with high frequency, 3DIC, interposer concepts, and signal/power integrity analysis to support advanced simulation and analysis tasks, including S-parameters, wave propagation, layout dependent effects, and more.
  • Support package, printed circuit board, and connector design processes using EDA tools, ensuring customers achieve optimal design outcomes.

  • Support the sales process by delivering compelling technical presentations and demonstrations, helping to secure new business and expand existing accounts.

What You'll Need:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in an engineering environment (MS+2), ideally with hands-on exposure to Ansys or similar CAE, CAD, EDA, or PLM software.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in electromagnetics, signal and power integrity analysis, and familiarity with high frequency, 3DIC, and interposer concepts.
  • Experience with package, PCB, and connector design processes and associated EDA tools.
  • Strong scripting skills (preferably Python) and familiarity with object-oriented programming and Agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for customer-facing presentations and documentation.
