As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and personnel, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, and you will play a key role in supporting a secure and welcoming environment while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions and directions related to site access and security-related procedures.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

+ Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of site protocols to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
