American Traveler is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a travel job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and strong OASIS and Homecare Homebase charting skills. Responsibilities Position is in a home health setting providing therapy services to adult and geriatric patients Expected caseload is 6 total points per day Patient population includes chronic diseases, wound care, IV therapy, pleurx, and wound vac patients Uses Homecare Homebase EMR and Samsung Note 9 devices for documentation No weekend shifts or on-call requirements unless requested 5-day orientation provided upon start Daily responsibilities include providing therapeutic care and education for patients with chronic and complex conditions There is departmental leadership support available First-time travelers may be considered if they are experienced in home health environments 5-day orientation is provided to all new team members Manager approval is needed for requested time off (RTO) Free parking is available on site Grey scrubs are required for therapy staff Requirements Current PT state licensure required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required Charting experience with Homecare Homebase is required Driver's License and proof of insurance required Strong skills in IV therapy, pleurx, wound vac, wound care, assessment, disease teaching, and OASIS management Experience with adult and geriatric chronic disease management required Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the home unit Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618635.
