This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with 12-hour shifts from 8a-8p in a typical urgent care setting. The provider will care for patients ages 3 months and older and must be experienced in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care environments. Job Details Location: Florida Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Schedule: 8a-8p Responsibilities and Duties Provide urgent care services for patients aged 3 months and up Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage procedures Read X-rays and EKGs Manage work-related injuries; work comp experience is a plus DOT certification is beneficial Utilize Practice Velocity EMR system Additional Information Must hold an active Florida medical license Board certification required in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care required Must be comfortable treating pediatric patients (3 months and older) Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
