The Opportunity: The City of El Cajon is currently searching for a detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department. Typical DutiesProvides general information and assistance to the public; Performs general cashiering duties; Performs general clerical duties including typing, filing and processing mail; Operates a variety of office machines; Provides public counter and telephone coverage for a variety of City services.
Qualification GuidelinesEducation: Equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented with courses preferably in bookkeeping and/or accounting. Experience: One year experience in clerical accounting, cashiering and/or bookkeeping including exposure to computerized data base systems.
