Hours: 8:00?am 5:00?pm, MondayFriday. 5 days a week on site. Travel: ~10% for projects or HQ visits.
Job DescriptionBe a part of the nuclear renaissance X?Energy is looking for a Security Engineer with a strong background in the integration of cyber security within Operational Technologies and Industrial Control Systems. A GICSP certification is preferred for this role as well as experience with Fortinet Firewalls. This role will support a Triso?X fuel manufacturing plant.
Minimum Qualifications- In?depth knowledge of OT cybersecurity architecture supporting various NIST cybersecurity framework capabilities, including cyber engineering, vulnerability management, identity management, threat intel, prediction and detection, response and recovery.
- Five or more years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related fields.
- Direct knowledge and experience managing cybersecurity tools such as NDR, EDR, and SIEM.
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls preferred.
- Certifications such as GICSP, GCIH, GPEN, CISSP or equivalent, or other specific training or experience in cyber security operations, design, and engineering.
- Familiarity with standard principles and practices of cybersecurity design for safeguarded plants and facilities.
- Knowledge of federal requirements for Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP).
- Knowledge of IEEE and IEC standards related to cybersecurity in embedded systems and control systems.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing threat assessments and using results of those assessments to develop comprehensive cyber security designs.
