Welcome to InTown Suites We are currently seeking a Property Maintenance Technician at one of our hotel properties. The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for daily upkeep of the property, including monitoring, maintaining, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on hotel property and equipment. The role requires living on property and being on call for emergencies, and will also include work as the Property Attendant one or two days a week, as determined by the General Manager/Regional Operations Manager. • Ensure that the building and grounds are clean, properly maintained, and free of clutter by picking up trash/debris and by cleaning siding and walkways
• Ensure that vacant rooms are in good repair, including walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, and cabinets
• Conduct maintenance room punch including drywall repairs, painting, general repairs, and carpet shampooing
• Perform preventative maintenance of guest rooms on a scheduled basis
• Ensure service requests are performed in a timely manner
• Respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner
• Maintain interior hallway carpets
• Notify Supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations
• Notify Supervisor of any guest concerns
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor prior to end of shift
• Perform functions as outlined in Property Attendant Job Description, Guest Agreement, and Property Maintenance Technician Resident and On-Call Agreement
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language to interact with guests and staff
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Ability to organize oneself and work with limited supervision
• Ability to manage multiple activities, often in stressful situations
• Working knowledge of air conditioning systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance and repair
• Ability to perform a variety of general maintenance repairs, troubleshoot equipment, identify needs/parts, and read manufacturer instructions
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and components, electrical supplies and materials and the proper application of the same
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and testing equipment for maintenance tasks
  

• Work on uneven surfaces in hot, cold and wet conditions; climb and stand on ladders up to ~30 feet
• Work indoors with carpeted surfaces and outdoors with concrete surfaces; exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Ability to work long hours regularly (which may include weekends)
• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling; reach with arms
• Lifting and carrying over 50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs
