Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of Thermoforming equipment. Your expertise in inspecting and repairing various systems will contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems on Thermoforming equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment longevity.
• Locate parts required for repairs or projects promptly.
• Monitor and maintain awareness of all work performed on machines and their performance.
• Keep shop areas neat and orderly and ensure cleanliness around machines post-repair.
• Take control of machinery in situations that pose potential personal injury or rapid deterioration of equipment.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for department personnel.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Complete work assignments from Shift Lead or Leadership Group.
• Communicate activities with Group Leadership and department members.
• Obtain parts daily and in emergency cases.
• Assist in other departments as requested by the Leadership Group.
• Continue education and training to stay current with job requirements.
• Wear and maintain proper PPE for tasks at all times.
• Maintain company tools and enforce all HAACP, GMP, Safety rules, and department guidelines.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aptitude.
• Dependable and motivated with a strong work history.
• Ability to participate in an apprenticeship program.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Strong reading comprehension and math skills.
• Ownership of required tools.

Work Environment:

Work in a production environment within the Thermoforming Department. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work around grease, oils, inks, and solvents, and climb ladders. You must be able to stand, walk, bend or stoop through an entire shift with good manual dexterity and 20/20 vision (with correction) to detect minor defects and differentiate colors.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $68640.00/yr.
