Intake Customer Service Advocate
LocationDallas, TX (must reside within a 50?mile radius of our Dallas location)
OverviewGroup Benefit Solutions delivers comprehensive insurance and absence?management solutions for mid?size and large companies. In this role you will field incoming calls to initiate accurate setup of various leave and disability claims. The initial eight weeks of training are fully onsite; thereafter the position will transition to a hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesday?Thursday, remote Monday and Friday).
Responsibilities- Answer 35?45 inbound calls and process leave or disability claims.
- Enter essential claim data into the appropriate leave?system forms.
- Build high?quality customer relationships using active listening and technical knowledge.
- Multitask and input information simultaneously while ensuring accurate data capture.
- Ensure successful submission of claims via a comprehensive approach.
- Meet team metrics: quality monitoring, security verification, schedule adherence, production, attendance, and quality processing.
- Respond to urgent and non?urgent inquiries within company SLAs.
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
- 1+ year call?center or customer?facing experience; knowledge of Workers Compensation, Disability Claims, or Family Medical Leave processing a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Proficiency with PC operations and Microsoft applications and a technical aptitude to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated use of critical thinking to provide unique solutions and recognize improvement opportunities.
- Clear, concise, and timely communication skills in verbal and written channels.
Salary & Compensation
Salary range: $36,000$42,000. Overtime eligible (Non?exempt). Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes. Sales bonus: No.
