Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is curious, empathetic, and deeply technical, with a passion for building next-generation authenticator experiences that raise the bar for usability and security. You will lead the product strategy for Oktas Authenticatorsthe trusted engine behind credentials, passkeys, FIDO2 WebAuthn, device signals, and recovery experiences. Youll shape how users authenticate across devices and surfaces, how organizations enforce phishing-resistant MFA, and how developers integrate modern authentication into their apps. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires technical fluency, strategic thinking, and customer obsession.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, design and research teams to define and document user stories and use-cases to guide product development.
• Define and execute product roadmap and prioritize features for Access Management.
• Collaborate with product marketing and developer relations to support messaging and content and enable the sales team.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and pain points, and use this information to inform innovation, product decisions and prioritization.
• Develop, research, and clearly communicate product strategies across different levels of stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including engineering, field teams, tech partnerships, and marketing, to ensure successful launch and adoption of Okta integrations.
• Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.
• Leverage product data to continually improve existing products and drive adoption and success across the business.
• Track industry trends and think strategically to develop differentiated solutions.
• Be the subject matter expert for your product area and enable counterparts in core product, Marketing, and tech partnerships teams.
  

Required

• 5+ years of Technical Product Management experience in enterprise scale SaaS products, Identity and Access management, or comparable relevant experience.
• Experience building or product managing feature areas for enterprise platform ecosystems/services.
• Experience developing, socializing, and driving strategies spanning multiple parts of an organization. Track record of owning and delivering on large strategic projects.
• Strong communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities shipped.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; able to act on incomplete or ambiguous inputs.
• Passion for Oktas growth potential and a drive to learn across business and technical contexts.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical degree; functional leadership experience, MBA, or equivalent.
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products.
• Advanced degree in technical or business field.
• Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, including integration considerations in user experience.
• Experience creating requirements for security-focused customers.
  

Additional Requirements

• This position requires the ability to access federal environments and/or protected federal data. The successful candidate must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status upon hire.
