Senior Scrum Master

Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Our client in the Atlanta area is looking for a Senior Scrum master to guide IT development teams through their cloud transformation. You will be coaching team members, removing impediments, and ensuring that Scrum ceremonies are effectively executed to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily stand?ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Coach agile principles: Guide the team and organization on Scrum and Agile best practices.
  • Remove obstacles: Identify and eliminate blockers that hinder team progress.
  • Support product owner: Assist in managing the product backlog and ensuring clarity of user stories.
  • Promote collaboration: Foster open communication and teamwork across departments.
  • Track progress: Monitor sprint metrics and team performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Shield the team: Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Clarity, etc)
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Problem?solving mindset and adaptability
