Onsite Project Manager Multifamily Construction

Manage a $20M development near the beach. Report only to Project Executive. Work alongside a Superintendent.

About Our Client

Our client offers a complete range of construction services for both rehab and ground-up multifamily projects. They have a proven track record in the construction industry and have become one of the top GC's in their market space.

Project Locations: Southeast U.S.

Family-oriented culture. Hands off management approach. Great relationships with subcontractors. Excellent leadership, both internally-developed and from other top GC's. Strong pipeline of projects through 2026.

Job Description

Develop a thorough understanding of the entire scope of work, including plans, specifications, logistics, materials, equipment, submittal and other requirements. Perform buyouts to ensure budgets are maintained. As necessary, update plans and schedules for field staff. Work with Superintendents to coordinate subcontractors and manage on-site production. Manage and push through all change-orders, RFI's, submittals, etc. Build and maintain relationships with owners / clients.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management. Must have construction experience in the multifamily or commercial markets. Desire to learn and help others learn. Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical is an advantage. Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings. Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
