Principal Product Manager For Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, definition, and execution of OCI Block Storage, a service at the core of OCI's AI infrastructure leadership. In this strategic role, you will shape the future of Oracle's cloud storage offerings, working with leading-edge customers and collaborating across engineering, sales, and executive teams to deliver the innovation and scalability that sets OCI apart.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for OCI Block Storage as an essential enabler for OCI's leadership in AI and cloud infrastructure.
  • Engage deeply with AI-driven enterprises to gather and interpret their storage requirements as they push the boundaries of data-intensive innovation.
  • Partner with engineering to design and deliver world-class block storage solutions that support massive scale, high throughput, and uncompromising reliabilitymeeting the rigorous demands of AI and mission-critical applications.
  • Monitor industry trends, AI advancements, and the competitive landscape to continuously identify opportunities to elevate OCI Block Storage and OCI's differentiation.
  • Develop and track performance metrics for customer engagement, business growth, and product impact on overall OCI success.
  • Lead cross-functional collaborations to ensure seamless product launches, internal enablement, and customer adoption.
  • Produce compelling product collateral and drive product awareness in the market.
  • Champion customer needs, creating robust feedback loops to fuel continuous improvement in alignment with Oracle's enterprise-grade security, compliance, and resilience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with substantial expertise in storage technologies and cloud infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
  • Deep technical acumen in block storage, distributed systems, and cloud platforms, with a focus on scaling, security, and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive, launch, and iterate on enterprise-class cloud products, ideally those foundational to AI, analytics, or data-intensive services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytic skills with a passion for customer success.
  • Experience leading agile teams and cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,400 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Oracle US offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes the following: medical, dental, and vision insurance, including expert medical opinion; short term disability and long term disability; life insurance and AD&D supplemental life insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child); health care and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts; pre-tax commuter and parking benefits; 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan with company match; paid time off: flexible vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 11 paid holidays; paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours; paid parental leave; adoption assistance; Employee Stock Purchase Plan; financial planning and group legal; voluntary benefits including auto, homeowner and pet insurance.
