About Global People Transportation: The Global People Transportation team partners closely with our transportation operations, supporting over 230 drivers, 18 managers, and 16 hourly associates across multiple locations. With an emphasis on optimized dispatch models and top-tier maintenance, our purpose is to enable safe and efficient logistics operations. As a People Partner, you'll help cultivate a high-performing, people-first environment that's essential to Walmart's mission of delivering for our customers and communities.
What you'll do...
- Lead HR operations for transportation teamsincluding talent management, associate relations, and compliance.
- Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns with sound judgment and partnership.
- Champion belonging, creating opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Guide and develop leaders through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Implement business plans to achieve facility goals in quality, safety, and operational improvements.
What you'll bring...
- Proven HR experience in logistics, transportation, or a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR systems, and compliance.
- Experience resolving complex employee relations.
- Ability to analyze data and recommend HR business solutions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Stock
Minimum Qualifications...
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field and 2 years HR Generalist experience (e.g., payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with at least one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Human Resources Area Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates, including dealing with employment compensation/payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting/staffing, organizational planning, and/or training and development programs OR 3 years experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees including one year of experience managing human resource processes (e.g., staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits)
Preferred Qualifications...
- Both Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management, Human Resources); and 3 years experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees.
- Developing and facilitating training programs experience.
- Human resources or training professional certifications (e.g., PHR/SPHR, ASTD).
- Managing human resource processes (e.g., staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits)
