Customer Service Specialist

Work from home as a Customer Service Specialist Ready to make a difference right from the comfort of your home? We're looking for Customer Service Specialists who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to patients. In this role, you'll be the voice of our companyanswering inbound calls, making outbound calls, and guiding patients through the process of getting the equipment they need. You'll handle everything from verifying insurance details to scheduling deliveries, all while providing top-notch support and educating patients about their financial responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Be the go-to expert on our products and services.
  • Answer calls and emails promptly, providing clear and helpful information.
  • Process orders, verify documentation, and ensure accuracy every step of the way.
  • Navigate multiple EMR systems to manage patient records and authorizations.
  • Complete insurance verification and obtain pre-authorizations when needed.
  • Communicate with patients and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • Must have: 1+ year of call center experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bonus points for: Healthcare experience or medical terminology knowledge
  • Familiarity in nursing homes or CNA roles
  • Experience handling inbound calls

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Newton, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
