Senior Product Manager, Session Replay

About The Role & TeamSession replay is a critical product at Amplitude, straddling our company's three pillars:
- Analytics providing our customers with tools to understand their customers.
- Platform taking advantage of our deep install base of digital analytics to sell other products
- AI leveraging AI to transition from providing "just software" to providing insights and action suggests on demand
Our customers have adopted session replay faster than any other new product launched at Amplitude. And now we're hiring a leader to capitalize and sustain this growth.
As a Senior Product Manager for Session replay, you will:
- Own the product
- Connect deeply with customers to understand their needs and discover opportunities
- Set the roadmap across the product (which includes session replay, heatmaps, and zoning)
- Act as a GM
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive awareness and emphasize the uniqueness and right to win of our offering
- Actively participate in sales opportunities to help pitch our solution and design winning pitches
- Be the internal cheerleader for session replay, highlighting updates and team member contributions

- You have an opinion about the session replay category, potentially formed as a user of products in the space
- You have ideas about how to apply AI to transition from a world where everyone has to watch the replays to get value
- You want the leverage of a larger company ($300M+ ARR, 200+ sales team, etc) but want to move at startup speed
- You have experience managing a product before (though doesn't have to be within this space)
- You're technical enough to understand system design, prompt engineering, and architectural tradeoffs in AI you don't need to write code, but you can earn the respect of engineers by being in the details

- Your favorite part of product management is process/project management
- You take multiple days to respond to Slack messages
- You want to let sales and marketing do their thing and just create a good product without having to think about marketing it or selling it
