Associate Systems Administrator

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card
The A.C.Coy company has an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Associate Systems Administrator. This individual will be an important member of the Infrastructure team, responsible for assisting in the administration of all enterprise-level systems and providing end-user support.
Responsibilities- Provide daily end-user and operational support; ensure positive resolution of help desk tickets
- Acquire and install network and server hardware and software for the facility
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software acquisitions and upgrades
- Participate in the establishment and maintenance of hardware and software standards
- Data backup and retention, network security and database administration
- Create and maintain a routine maintenance schedule for servers and other equipment
- Administration of phone system, FAX machines and copiers
- Maintain accurate records of software licensing and asset tracking of hardware
- Ensure security of network and communications systems, and assist with disaster recovery preparedness and planning
- Assist with training and mentoring of other team members
Required
- Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems on various PC and notebook configurations
- Proficiency in the administration of Active Directory and Office 365
- Hands-on experience with network equipment Routers, Switches
- Experience utilizing one or more ticketing systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
- Ability to work in a high volume, high detail work environment
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- Ability to perform basic PowerShell scripting
- Any experience supporting a manufacturing environment
