What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Engage with clients to assist in creating permit conditions that align with their business goals
  2. Manage projects, including budget development, team leadership, and product delivery
  3. Support program marketing through proposal preparation and client outreach
  4. Navigate air permit applications through regulatory processes and negotiate permit conditions
  5. Conduct technical analyses related to air permitting and compliance with regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Bachelors or higher degree in Environmental Engineering, Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  2. 8+ years of air permitting or similar experience, including 3+ years in project management
  3. Strong knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal regulations
  4. Proven ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and technical direction for staff
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to client service

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience with air dispersion modeling analyses, including AERMOD and AERSCREEN
  2. Familiarity with Best Available Control Technology (BACT) analyses and air operating permits
  3. Knowledge of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and related regulatory frameworks
