Job Opportunity At Salina Regional Home Medical Services

Join our team at Salina Regional Home Medical Services, located at 520 S Santa Fe, Suite 140, Salina, KS 67401. We offer a full-time position in the Durable Medical Equipment - Home Care department, working a day shift, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with rotating on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of customer service functions.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and problems.
  • Provide orientation and education for various types of equipment to customers.
  • Use systems for tracking, information gathering, or troubleshooting.
  • Respond to inquiries and may refer customers to secondary sources.
  • Maintain records as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

  • Patient demographics/intake
  • Knowledge of insurance qualifications for medical equipment
  • Knowledge of Medical Equipment preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians
  • Computer skills
  • High call volumes
