The Role: The Director, Electric Product Managementleads Xylem's Electric strategy, driving profitable growth and innovation across global product lines. This role owns the full product lifecycle - from roadmap definition to market launch and end-of-life - while ensuring customer-centric solutions and industry leadership. As a highly visible leader, you will represent Xylem's vision externally, foster a culture of innovation internally, and deliver measurable impact to communities across North America.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute global product strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead a high-performing team in developing positioning, value propositions, and launch plans.
  • Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable product development priorities.
Growth & Profitability
  • Develop pricing strategies and margin targets.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation.
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and optimize product lines.
  • Ensure timely, well-resourced product launches with supporting materials.
Brand & Market Presence
  • Represent Xylem at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
  • Drive thought leadership through white papers, presentations, and internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build compelling value propositions.
Leadership & Culture
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing team
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Drive industry confidence as a key senior leader of Xylem Electric
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in product management, electric utilities or related fields.
  • Strong background in pricing, lifecycle management, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience with AI-driven integration or digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams across North America; up to 35% travel required.
