NP/PA Orthopedics opening in WI - Located in La Crosse, WI - Rochester 70m - Full-time, permanent position Practice Highlights: - The Department of Orthopaedics is recruiting for an experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join 14 Orthopedic Surgeons and 22 PA/NPs on staff - Role will work closely with one Pediatric Orthopaedic surgeon - Major area of focus: Pediatric Orthopaedic Trauma/Surgery - Basic Duties: General clinic practice, emergency evaluations, post-op checkups, outreach duties, OR equipment set-up, first assisting, and rounding with in-patients - Support assigned surgeon with histories, physicals, casting, splinting, evaluations, treatment planning, and post-op care - Work cooperatively with athletic trainers, physical therapists, nurses, and support staff - Share call equally - Level II Trauma Center Comp/Benefits: - Competitive Salary - 10 days of CME plus funds (for 1.0 FTE) - Loan Forgiveness - Base Retirement Contribution and 401K matching program for retirement - Teaching Hospital with opportunity for protected Research time - Malpractice, health, dental, life, disability, and vacation About the Area: La Crosse, WI, is a gem along the Mississippi River that captivates with its blend of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and a thriving community.
