• Competitive starting pay range of $29.85$33.58 per hour, paid weekly (includes $2 Shift Differential)

Responsibilities

Shift Maintenance Associate must possess mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge to understand mechanical and electrical systems and controls.

• Troubleshooting high?voltage (up to 480?V?3?phase) systems
• Troubleshooting low?voltage control circuits, including computer?based controls
• Operating test equipment: digital multimeters, amp meters, continuity, current, voltage, resistance measurements
• Repairing or replacing industrial mechanical/electrical/electronic components
• Assisting with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance records (CMMIS)
• Performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on automation/production equipment
• Setting up and performing preventive maintenance on automation/production equipment
• Reading schematic diagrams and identifying electrical symbols
• Using computer?based inventory system for reports and locating spare parts
• Executing daily Maintenance Connection duties
• Performing quality work within management time standards
• Using mandatory safety equipment; executing duties safely and efficiently
• Assisting maintenance/production staff as needed
• Helping train other employees
• Working alone or as part of a team
• Flexible with schedule as needed
• Maintaining safe, clean, tidy area(s)
• Following company rules and policies
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience; preferred plastics industry
• Must possess own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication, teamwork, judgement, motivation, planning, organization, professionalism, quality, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative
• Technical skill mix: mechanical and electrical maintenance, VFDs, servo motors, PLCs
