Specialty Pharmacy Technician

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring prescriptions are filled and shipped accurately and efficiently. You'll handle everything from data entry and benefit verification to contacting patients for refills and coordinating deliveries. Your day may include processing new referrals, assisting walk-in patients, managing inventory, and preparing medications for shipmentincluding those requiring special handling. You'll also support prior authorizations and help enroll patients in financial assistance programs. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a working knowledge of pharmacy and medical terminology. If you're organized, adaptable, and ready to grow in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, CVS Specialty is the place for you. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and quickly learn new systems. Required Qualifications:

• Registered pharmacy technician license with Georgia Board of Pharmacy
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• PTCB or NHA national certification

Education: Verifiable high school diploma or GED

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Pay range: The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46
