Overview

Senior Director I Top Mechanical Construction Recruiter | Head Hunter | Believer | Warrior. gpac, a 30+ year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Construction: HVAC Controls industry, on the hunt for a Building Automation Project Manager to join their team. This is an opportunity for candidates who are pursuing a career in project management within HVAC solutions and building automation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including tradespeople, contractors, engineers, and clients
  • Utilize cloud software (ProCore, Autodesk Build) for submittals and engineered drawings
  • Oversee Tridium Niagara N4 and Johnson Controls Facility Explorer product lines
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the user experience and efficiency of building automation systems
Essential Job Functions
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills for complex projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and lead a team
  • Willingness to travel as projects dictate (30% Preferred) and hold a current driver's license
Required Skills
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience in the HVAC industry
  • Knowledge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul market for effective project execution
  • Computer networking skills related to building automation systems
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Strong leadership skills to keep projects running smoothly
