Seeking Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider to join fantastic team near Myrtle Beach, SC.
SCHEDULE & COVERAGE:
- APPs will work 120 hours per month.
- Main ED: 10-hour shifts, working alongside physician support.
- FSED: Coverage as volume requires.
- Daily Staffing: The ED is staffed with 4 physicians and 3 APPs each day.
- Rotations between the main ED and FSED are expected, though exclusive FSED coverage may be considered.
- Call Schedule: No call responsibilities are required for this position.
Shifts are structured to promote flexibility, ensuring a sustainable work-life balance.
FACILITIES & RESOURCES:
- Main ED: 42 beds with dedicated high-acuity, moderate, and less-acute zones.
- FSED (Opening 2026): 12 beds with full lab, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound capabilities.
- Technology: Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient charting.
- Specialist Access: Closed ICU with intensivist support, surgicalist coverage, and a robust network of specialists.
LEVEL OF CARE & TRANSFERS:
- Level III Trauma Center
- Over 50,000 annual ER visits
- Low Transfer Rate: 2% Admission Rate: 25%
CANDIDATE PARAMETERS:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Emergency Medicine experience required.
- Collaborative professionals committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Employment Status: W2 structure.
- 148,320k/year for 120 hours a month. Base pay $88/hr but bonuses increase that number.
