CNC Operator

1st Shift CNC Machine Operator

Join a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-quality hydraulic system components. Be part of a team that creates hydraulic power units, integrated valve systems, cylinders, motors, and pumps.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC Mills and Lathes.
Calibrate machines for each specific product job run.
Load and unload parts into the machine.
Assist with basic quality control inspections.
Inspect and prepare materials for the next operation.
Change programs and confirm the tool list.
Perform dry runs on parts to ensure accurate tool selection.
Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping around the work area daily or weekly.
Participate in cross-training across other departments as needed.

Essential Skills

Experience with CNC or machine operation with metals.
Ability to read blueprints.
Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing production facility. The position is a first shift role from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with the potential for required overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
