Overview

Snelling is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support a leading manufacturing company. This role manages order entry, customer communication, and logistics coordination across six U.S. facilities. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment and can quickly learn Nexus, the company's proprietary order and billing system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, enter, and schedule customer orders via phone, email, and fax.
  • Accurately process orders in Nexus, including scheduling and customer confirmations.
  • Provide product, service, and shipment information while resolving inquiries or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order activity.
  • Coordinate with plant operations, sales, accounting, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor shipments, assess delays, and communicate updates to customers.
  • Recommend process improvements in products, shipping, or service.
  • Handle account changes, reschedules, service adjustments, and escalated concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and complex order details.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or manufacturing customer support preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
