As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and information as needed, following established protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to support a secure environment within an aerospace and defense setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or possess an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
