QA/QC Inspector

QA/QC Inspector role at Apollo Mechanical Contractors. The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for performing and documenting inspections and supporting a project team with the following tasks: including but not limited to:
- Implement the QA/QC program on site
- Perform various quality inspections i.e. Dimensional, Visual, welding, etc.
- Coordinate quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors
- Coordinate all nondestructive testing on site
- Complete and coordinate the approval of the site QC technical submittals with the customer
- Coordinate with the customer's representative on all quality matters
- Perform receiving inspections of equipment and material
- AWS CWI
- Experience in ASME and AWS codes preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proficient with learning and applying technical concepts
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project)
- Bachelors degree in construction management, business, engineering, or related field and/or equivalent job experience
