Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of manufacturing machinery. Your role will involve analyzing and maintaining systems and equipment within the plant, performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines. You will also reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specifications, sketches, and manufacturer's instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery.
  • Analyze and maintain systems and equipment in the plant.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
  • Reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specs, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions.

Essential Skills:

  • Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in industrial and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in machine repair and wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
  • Mechanical comprehension and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and motors.
  • Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement.
  • Preferred experience in PLC diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of process equipment control for troubleshooting and installations.
  • Field service knowledge including photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, reed sensors, etc.
  • Electromechanical troubleshooting skills including controls, components, and control wiring diagnosis.

Work Environment:

Work in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility that is a leader in the baking industry. The manufacturing and production plant operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Pay and Benefits:
